I’ll let you in on a secret.

The first time I decided to host a live online class, I was so nervous! The truth is, I didn’t sleep much the night before because I was so worried about how it would go.

I was terrified that the tech wouldn’t work for me, (well, actually to be more accurate I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to use the tech), I worried that I wouldn’t be able to teach like I do in person, and that I would look silly.

I got through that first class and it’s been happy days since then! – Our live classes are the highlight of my week.

I tell you this so that you know I honestly know how it feels to join the zoom call for the first time.

Joining live classes are game changers and here’s why.

  1. Routine – Showing up is like attending a real in person class. You make a commitment to yourself and schedule in the times throughout the week creating habits that will shape your life.
  2. Support – There’s something nice about moving together as a group and supporting each other. I love the chit chat at the beginning of the class, where women can say hi and let the good vibes flow through the screen.
  3. Guidance – A tip from Beth here and there can make all the difference in feeling the move correctly and getting the most out of the class. In Pilates, the correct form makes all the difference to switching on the ‘right’ muscles and making the seemly simple moves extremely effective.
  4.  Accountability – If you’re anything like most women I know, you don’t let your friends down when you say you’ll help them out or meet up for a coffee. It’s all too easy to promise ourselves that we’ll do the workout only to have other commitments and priorities crowd it out. When you commit to showing up for class we’re more likely to honour the decision. 

Currently, our live classes are held Monday and Fridays at 9:30am and Wednesdays at 5:30pm. (NZST).
